Parents’ plea for cash support to give tot a better life after suffering stroke and brain haemorrhages at birth
Premature baby Olivia Neumann suffered a stroke, and grade two and four brain haemorrhages at just two days old.
This caused massive damage, leaving her with cerebral palsy and delayed physical and mental development.

Parents Dariusz Neumann and Marzena Okrasa-Neumann, of Apollo Avenue, are now working with charity Just4Children to raise £7,500 towards the considerable costs of therapy to give her a better quality of life.
Mum Marzena says: “Olivia was in the care of the NHS therapists since she was four months old. Nevertheless, they did nothing to help her, apart from telling us her actual state. I don’t want to think what could have happened if it wasn’t for the private therapist.”
Marzena added: “Despite the hard, daily and often painful rehabilitation, Olivia is an incredibly cheerful child. Every new thing that she learns makes her extremely happy.

She said: “Olivia is an amazing child who has suffered a lot already. We still have at least a few years of rehabilitation ahead of us, but I know it’s worth it. It is worth to fight for a better tomorrow.”
