The number of deaths in the UK is currently at 422.

The total figure for positive tests in Cambridgeshire has now reached 41, while there have been 43 in Northamptonshire and 31 in Lincolnshire.

News of the deaths comes as people in Peterborough continue to ignore orders from the Government to avoid being within two metres of someone else and to not gather in groups of more than two.

In an interview with the Peterborough Telegraph, the director of public health at Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council Dr Liz Robin warned that failure to carry out social distancing and to remain at home where possible could spark a rise in people being affected which would overwhelm the NHS in Peterborough.
