The Peterborough neighbourhoods where most people have had COVID jabs

More people have been given the COVID jab in Stanground than any other area of the city, new figures show.

A total of 4,873 people in Stanground have been given at least one dose of vaccine.

Orton West & Castor sits in second place, with 4,591, while Newborough and Peakirk is in third, with 4,085.

Hampton Vale tops the charts for the most under 50s given the jab, with 1,344 and for the most people aged 50-54, with 579.

Orton West & Castor is at the top of the table for people aged 55-59 (578), 60-64 (687), 65-69 (549) and 70-74 (603). Longthorpe and Netherton is at the top for people aged 70-74 (431) and 80+ (609).

The figures, released by NHS England yesterday, showed that nearly 40 per cent of all adults in Peterborough have now had at least one dose of the vaccine.
