The areas of Peterborough where the most people have had a COVID vaccine

More than 2,600 people have had at least one COVID vaccine in every area of Peterborough, new figures reveal.

Stanground tops the charts, with 5,363 people having been given at least one jab since the vaccination programme began (up to March 28).

Stanground also tops the charts in the city for people aged 50-54 (746) and 55-59 (688).

Orton West and Castor, which is second in the table, is top of the list in the city for people aged 60-64 (705), 65-69 (550) and 70-74 (604).

Longthorpe and Netherton, fourth overall in the city, leads the way for residents agedbetween 75 and 79 (433) and those aged 80 and over (614.

Hampton Vale - which lies 11th overall - has had the most vaccines given to those under 50, with 1,545.

In total 81,296 people - 42 per cent of the adult population have now had at least one dose of the vaccine in Peterborough, with more than 90 per cent of people aged 70 and above having had the jab.
