Public service to resume at Peterborough city centre church
Public worship will resume at St John’s Church in Peterborough city centre this weekend.
The church has been open for the last few weeks for private prayer, but the first public service will take place on Sunday (July 19) with a simple service of Morning Prayer at 11am. There will be no singing at the service, and social distancing measures will be in place.
The service will last no longer than 40 minutes.
The church is also facilitating the NHS Test and Trace service and invite everyone who comes to the church to leave their contact details in the box provided.
