The venue, which has been used as a site for COVID-19 testing during the lockdown, will be open between Friday, 3 and Sunday, 5 July.

To ensure that numbers remain at safe levels the venue will be allowing 20 cars to enter the venue every 30 minutes from 11am to 1pm on each day.

Entry will be on a strictly pre-book only basis via a booking website, link below.

Venue director, Jason Lunn, said, “We have decided that it is now safe to open up some of the grass areas of the venue as a park for those residents of Peterborough who would like to get out into some open space after such a long time in lockdown.

“We are having to limit numbers by pre-booking to ensure that we remain within the existing safe guidance. However, we will be putting out 50 park benches and marking out other spaces for picnic or seating areas.

“As we slowly start to open up the venue and the events industry we will be announcing more events so we would encourage everyone to watch the website and social media for further details.”
