Peterborough weekly positive COVID-19 tests rise after two week drop

The number of positive coronavirus tests recorded in Peterborough in the past seven days has risen compared to previous weeks.

There have now been 465 positive tests for the virus in the city according to Public Health England, up from 449 the previous week - a rise of 16 in seven days.

The previous week there were just 10 positive tests, while the week before there were 12.

At Peterborough City Hospital there have been 145 recorded deaths linked to coronavirus, a rise of five in the past week. The previous week also saw a rise of five deaths at the hospital connected to COVID-19,
