Peterborough market remains open after two food hall workers tested positive for coronavirus

Stall holders are continuing to trade at Peterborough market after the food hall was shut when two members of staff tested positive for coronavirus.

The food hall was shut yesterday after the cases were confirmed with two members of staff.

It is currently closed while a deep clean takes place. A Peterborough City Council spokeswoman said it was not known how long it would remain closed for.

The rest of the market remains open as normal, with customers being told to stick to social distancing measures when visiting.
