Peterborough hospital trust sees large drop in COVID patients needing treatment
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust thanked staff and the community for their help driving down the number of people who need hospital treatment for the virus.
In the same week last month, 95 people were admitted to the hospitals.

Hide AdYesterday figures released by Public Health England reported no new positive tests in Peterborough, and North West Anglia NHS Foundation have not reported any new deaths since Saturday.
There have been 96 deaths from the virus at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and 145 at Peterborough City Hospital since March 24. All patients were aged 30 to 98 years old and had pre-existing health conditions. They had all tested positive for Covid-19. Since March 24 469 patients with the virus have been discharged.
In total there have been 465 positive tests in the city.
