Peterborough city centre church to reopen for private prayer

The church based in St John’s Square, has been closed throughout lockdown - but will open again on Friday for prayer, reflection, and for people to light candles.

The Parish Church of Peterborough will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays between 11am and 2pm, and on Sundays between 11am and 12.30pm.

There are measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety - distancing, hand sanitiser, and some areas are closed at this time. The toilets will not be open. The cafe remains closed at the moment.

Services continue to be live-streamed on Sundays at 9.15am on Facebook and remain available after as well as being uploaded to YouTube a little later on. Further details on the church website: www.peterborough-stjohns.org.uk
