Mixed picture for coronavirus rates across Peterborough

There is a mixed picture for coronavirus rates across Peterborough.

The latest figures show large drops in cases in some areas of the city, while others have seen rises in the seven days up to February 18.

The one anomaly is Millfield and Bourges Boulevard, but as explained by the Peterborough Telegraph on Monday this is linked to an outbreak of cases at HMP Peterborough.

This helps explain why Peterborough has one of the highest rolling rates of infection (270) in the country, although the number of cases in the city has dropped by 14 (2.5 per cent) to 546 over the past week.
