Housebound Peterborough area residents being warned about ‘at-home’ Covid vaccination scam
Council officials have warned about fraudsters targeting Peterborough area households with a scam offering ‘at-home Covid-19 vaccinations.
South Kesteven District Council has issued the alert saying: “We have been made aware of reports of unauthorised, non-NHS organisations offering ‘at home’ COVID-19 vaccinations to housebound people.
“Please be aware that GPs are not administering vaccines in people’s homes.
“If you receive a call from anyone offering ‘at home’ COVID-19 vaccinations, please report this to the police.”
They advised people to share this message with friends and family.
