Coronavirus: Visiting restrictions in place at Peterborough City Hospital

Visiting restrictions have been put in place at Peterborough City Hospital after the country was put in lock down by Prime Minister Boris Johnson last night.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Hinchingbrooke, Stamford and Rutland and Peterborough City Hospitals, announced the new measures this morning.

From today, all visits to the hospitals have been suspended, with the following exceptions:

End of life patients

One parent for paediatric patients

One birthing partner

The restrictions are in place to protect NHS staff and patients, and to prevent the spread of the virus.
