Coronavirus: Police disperse groups using Peterborough skate park

Playgrounds and outdoor equipments remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cambridgeshire police said last night: "Following some recent reports of people using Werrington Skate Park we have been dispersing groups there. Please remember this and other outdoor equipment such as gyms and playgrounds are not yet open."

Police have been kept busy in Peterborough trying to maintain social distancing.

Yesterday, the force extended a dispersal order which had begun in Woodston on Friday evening due to large groups gathering.

The order is in place until 2pm on Monday.
