Prehistoric February half-term fun with dinosaur and fossil discoveries at museum near Peterborough
Dinosaur-themed fun is on the cards for families visiting a Peterborough area museum during half term
Fossils Galore is offering a week of prehistoric intrigue, fun with fossils and dinosaur discovery from this Saturday, February 14.
Palaeontologist Jamie Jordan will be being on site all week to answer all your fossil questions.
Visitors to the museum, in High Street, March, can even bring in their own discoveries to have them identified, and get hands-on with real fossils.

A museum spokesperson said: “Come along and meet our dinosaurs - Ruby the T-Rex and her three baby dinosaur friends, Topaz, Sapphire and Emerald, and find out what dinosaurs they are.
"See our major UK dinosaur discovery being cleaned by our team live on display.
“Dig and discover real dinosaur bones in our fossil hunting activity as well as exploring our other activities from gold panning to geode breaking, opal hunting and fossil preparation - plus lots more with something from each activity to take home.”
Visitors can also learn all about the UK’s first female fossil hunter Mary Anning, who became internationally known renowned for her marine fossil discoveries along the English coastline in the early 1800s.

On Saturday 14th, Wednesday 18th and Friday 20th February, visitors to the museum can learn all about Mary and hear about her discoveries and life.
"Also get up close with a real fossil discovered and labelled by Mary Anning herself,” the spokesperson went on. “This is the only Mary Anning fossil on display to the public in a private museum.”
The museum will finish the week with reptile handling on Saturday 21st February, from 10am-3pm with an educational talk (£5 per person).
