Picture special: This year’s Peterborough schools reception classes

Peterborough Telegraph photographer David Lowndes has been visiting city primary schools over recent months as our hugely popular reception classes feature returns.

David has pictured more than 100 reception classes at more than 50 schools.

The annual spotlight on the next generation of Peterborough pupils has returned after the pandemic and we think you’ll agree there are some fantastic pictures of hundreds of smiling faces.

This is the first of four parts published on our website and features schools alphabetically from Abbotsmede to Gunthorpe.
