The college has joined the national ‘FE Foodbank Friday’ campaign, which is seeing further education organisations around the country coming together to raise money for community foodbanks. Many foodbanks are seeing a decline in donations at this challenging time and in need of support.
Peterborough Regional College will be supporting the Peterborough Foodbank and aims to raise £1,000.

We are still supporting thousands of students through online learning to ensure they have the best educational outcome possible and we are having regular one to one contact with our supported and most vulnerable learners.
“We have already donated over a thousand items of personal protective equipment to our NHS and this is another opportunity to play our role in our community. The FE Foodbank Friday is another initiative that we are proud to be part of.
“The people who are keeping food banks running through this time of crisis are hidden heroes, and we want to make sure that we do everything we can to provide the supplies they need to keep going.”
