Peterborough pupils collect 170kgs of goods for foodbank
Generous pupils at Discovery Primary Academy in Mountsteven Avenue, Peterborough, donated hundreds of items for a Christmas Foodbank Collection
During the last week of the Autumn term at Discovery Primary Academy each class was asked by the Academy Council to decorate a box and fill it with as many items as possible to donate to the local Foodbank.
On Friday, December 20, all of the boxes were collected from the classes ready for distribution.
Discovery Primary Academy as a whole had collected an amazing 170kgs of food. The food collection was taken to the local Foodbank, where it was gratefully received.
