Peterborough College: Over 230 places at university for students in successful A Levels results day for college

238 Students will be progressing to university following exceptional results at Peterborough College this year.

Following their merger with Stamford College in 2020, and the creation of the Inspire Education Group, the newly named Peterborough College is going from strength to strength and their phenomenal 2022 results are testament to the hard work of both students and staff who have seen hundreds of students successfully pass their courses this week.

Equivalent in value to A Levels, Diplomas are accepted by 95% of Universities giving our students an excellent start to their future careers.

Top-performing Diploma courses with students achieving D*D*D* to DMM, the equivalent of A*A*A* to A*BB at A level, included:

Kian Pooley, who not only took his College football team to league winning glory as Football Academy Captain, but is also celebrating top grades of D*D*D in his Sport Extended Diploma Level 3, securing a place on the BSc in Physical Education at University of East Anglia.

The University of East Anglia was also the destination of choice for Anastasija Antropova who is progressing to study her BA (Hons) Business and Management degree after achieving DDM in her Business Extended Diploma Level 3. A phenomenal achievement having only started speaking English 5 years ago after joining us from her native Latvia.

Keane Ingram who achieved D*DD, on the Extended Diploma in Dance Level 3 is now off to study at top Performing Arts School Addict Dance Academy in Leicester.

Another student is progressing to the prestigious Central Saint Martins University is Evie Doncaster who has successfully secured her place on the BA (Hons) Fine Art Degree after achieving the highest grades possible D*D*D* in her Extended Diploma Level Art course.

From our Extended DIploma in Applied Science, Amy Tarleton has also secured the highest grades possible with an outstanding D*D*D* and a place at the University of Lincoln to study BioChemistry.
