A new car park was opened near a school to help pupils get to class safely and stop traffic chaos at the start and end of school.

The car park has been built next to Lime Academy Abbottsmede, and was officially opened by Cllr Azher Iqbal. He was joined by pupils who had campaigned for safety improvements in the area, and Skanska staff who built the car park.
