Christian school praised
A Peterborough primary school has been given an '˜outstanding' rating in a Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report.
Stanground St John’s Church of England Primary in Chapel Street is said to have put Christian values at the heart of everything it does.
Inspectors added: “The school’s values help pupils develop spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding, leading to a deep awareness and respect for each other and the wider world.”
School headteacher Sally Williams said: “We are delighted with this outstanding outcome and will continue to work hard to improve even further.”
The school currently has a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted.
