After cycling 32.6 miles in only two weeks, Josh had raised more £200 to put towards a cause. When his mum asked where he wanted to spend the money, Josh immediately replied that he wanted his money to go to his teachers!

Proud dad Mark Baines was beaming at Josh’s achievement. He said: “Joshua really got into going out on his bike since the lockdown, so his granny set him a challenge to use it to give back to a cause. His longest bike ride was 8.5 miles in one go. I’m so proud!”

“I must admit that a few of us have felt very emotional in being given such a gift. It really helps to keep us going during these very strange days while we are still working in school and teaching remotely. Thank you Joshua!”
