Celebrating five years of Glo Golf Games Bar in Wentworth Street, Peterborough city centre

A look inside Peterborough's Glo Golf Games Bar as it celebrates fifth anniversary

After bringing intergalactic-themed glow in the dark crazy golf to Peterborough city centre five years ago, Glo Golf in Wentworth Street has upped its game.

It has now been rebranded as the Glo Golf Games Bar, reflecting on much more it has to offer for customers looking to combine a drink with friends with some friendly leisure activities.

So it was only right to pay a visit.

The 18 holes of crazy golf, through two darkened rooms played with illuminous balls, remains as popular and as fun and challenging as ever.

Next to the seated bar area is a great virtual shooting experience – lifelike rifles to aim at targets on screen in a range of scenarios; definitely my favourite part of the night.

Then there’s interactive darts all around the bar – chose from a games selection featuring traditional 301 or 501 and round the board to more fun titles. Naturally, being from Warrington, I unleased my inner Luke Littler!

There’s pool and shuffleboard, too, and for those who like to let their hair down while belting out a tune or two, a karaoke room seating a dozen or so is private and soundproofed.
