The Hope Kits were created to offer comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that the community is thinking of those who are facing one of the most challenging times of their lives. Each kit was thoughtfully prepared by the teams from both homes and shared with patients as a small gesture of kindness and solidarity.
At TLC Homes, we believe care extends beyond the walls of our homes. Being part of the community means standing alongside people when they need support the most. By taking part in World Cancer Day, we wanted to show that no one has to face their journey alone.
Aga Clark, Business Development Manager at TLC Homes, said:“This was a very special moment for our teams. Delivering the Hope Kits was our way of showing patients that they are not alone and that their community cares deeply about them. Even a small act of kindness can bring comfort and hope during such a difficult time.
"We are proud to support the incredible work of the NHS teams at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the compassionate staff at Arthur Rank Hospice, who provide outstanding care every day.
"To everyone living with cancer, their families, and the professionals who support them — we see you, we support you, and we stand with you. Together, as a community, we can bring hope."
