Bayleaf Care Home in Huntingdon will be celebrating their First Christmas by opening their doors to the local community for a spectacular Christmas Fayre.

Taking place on Saturday 29th November between 10am and 2pm residents and guests will be treated to a variety of local stalls, a raffle, hot and cold refreshments and snacks along with live music. There will also be a special appearance from Father Christmas himself.

The team at Bayleaf Care Home, which opened in June 2024, have been working hard to make sure that the first Christmas at the home is a memorable one for the residents and their loved ones by arranging a series of other events including wreath making, a resident Christmas Party and various Christmas Carol services with groups from the local community.

Katie Wilkinson, General Manager at the home, said: “We are very excited to be holding our Christmas Fayre at Bayleaf Care Home. We are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event gives us the opportunity of bringing people of all ages together to get into the festive sprit”.

Bayleaf Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Bayleaf Care Home provides residential care and dementia care for 53 residents ranging from short-term respite care to long term stays.
