Heavenly voices rang out at Bayleaf Care Home as the generations came together to celebrate Christmas with a very special carol performance.

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Bayleaf Care Home, in Huntingdon, got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the community to come and join in with a carol concert to sing some festive Christmas favourites. The singing was led by pupils from Huntingdon Primary School who entertained the residents and then joined them for a variety of tasty Christmas treats all prepared by head chef, Stephane Roqueta.

General Manager, Katie Wilkinson said: “We are so lucky to have such a fantastic community here at Bayleaf Care Home. Singing Christmas carols is such a lovely tradition and our residents are so glad that we could invite our friends from Huntingdon Primary School to come in and join us.”

Steve Leader, resident at Bayleaf Care Home said: “I love to sing Christmas carols so it was wonderful to hear all my old favourites sung so beautifully by the children, there really is nothing better than a good old singalong!”
