Bayleaf care home celebrates employee of the month
Residents and staff at Bayleaf Care Home in Huntingdon burst into applause as Administration Assistant Lorraine Prangnell was named Employee of the Month in recognition of her dedication and for always going above and beyond for residents and their families.
Lorraine was nominated by residents, colleagues, and relatives, all of whom felt she deserved special recognition for the incredible work she does every day. She was congratulated by the home’s General Manager, Katie Wilkinson, who presented her with a certificate and an award as a token of appreciation.
Katie said: “I’m delighted to have such a caring and talented individual as part of our team, and I hope this award goes some way to showing how much Lorraine’s hard work is valued. Lorraine is the first face you see when you visit Bayleaf and the first voice you hear when you call us and we could not ask for a better person to make that all important first impression. We are very lucky to have her with us here at Bayleaf”
A modest Lorraine said: “This came as a big surprise to me and I was not expecting it. I absolutely love my job, so to get this sort of recognition for doing something that means so much to me is very rewarding.”
