10 Peterborough community organisations have been supported by the team at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Peterborough throughout 2025.

Employees from Amazon in Peterborough have made donations of over £25,000 to community organisations throughout Peterborough such as Peterborough College, Paston Riding School and Coates Primary School. The donation helped to supply charities with instruments, educational kits and hygiene kits.

Tomislav Batinic, Site Leader at Amazon in Peterborough, said:

“On behalf of the team at Amazon Peterborough, we’re proud to support the Peterborough community in 2025 with these donations and volunteering our time. Seeing our team collaborate with local partners and witnessing the difference we make together is fantastic, and we’re looking forward to another year of building lasting connections that have a real impact.”

The Amazon team marked milestones throughout the year with their colleagues, friends and family, celebrating summer, Prime Day, Halloween and Christmas. The Peterborough fulfilment centre also celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2025, supporting customers around the UK since opening in 2010.

Amazon in Peterborough also received an accolade as a Top Employer in 2025. The Top Employers Institute certifies organisations who are focused on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies and Amazon in the UK has been recognised for the second consecutive year. Community donations and employee volunteering are just two of the ways Amazon supports the communities where it operates. Amazon co-founded the Multibank initiative with former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown to support families in need. The initiative has donated more than 12 million surplus goods to over 800,000 families across Scotland, Wales, Greater Manchester, London, Tees Valley and Birmingham. This year, the Multibank will send 1 million orders to families across the UK.

Amazon has supported more than one million students across the UK with free STEM education programmes through Amazon Future Engineer and helps community organisations transport meals and other essentials to families in need through its pro bono logistics programme, Amazon Local Good.

Amazon partners with Comic Relief and is the official home of the charity’s iconic Red Nose. Together with its employees, customers, and partners, Amazon has raised over £4.8 million to fund projects that support people across the UK, and around the world.
