Traders back as Peterborough Market re-opens after lockdown

Traders are back at Peterborough Market after some were able to re-open their stalls as lockdown restrictions were eased.

Stalls selling non-essential goods re-opened on Tuesday after months of being forced to close.

Shoppers returned to the site to look for bargains, as the city begins to re-open following the lockdown.

There are plans to move the market away from its current site in the future, following the demolition of the Northminster car park last year. A temporary car park is currently in place at the site.

The market opening times are Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am - 4pm.
