Smart Solutions hosts successful third Cyber Networking Breakfast

On Wednesday, 16th October, Smart Solutions hosted its highly–anticipated 3rd Annual Cyber Networking Breakfast at the Weston Homes Stadium in Peterborough, bringing together industry professionals, local businesses, and cybersecurity experts.

Building on the success of previous events, this year's session exceeded expectations with enhanced content, valuable networking, and hands-on learning experiences.

A major highlight of the event was a live cyber attack demonstration, led by Smart Solutions’ Technical Director, James Barnett. This interactive session offered attendees a rare, firsthand look at how cyber threats unfold in real-time, followed by practical guidance on how to prevent such attacks. The demonstration drew considerable engagement, leaving attendees with critical takeaways to apply to their own cybersecurity strategies.

In addition to the live demonstration of a hack, the event featured an expert panel discussion, where delegates had the opportunity to ask key questions about the most pressing cybersecurity challenges facing their businesses. The questions spurred insightful dialogue, offering actionable solutions to real-world problems.

Sponsors—including Gamma, Veeam, Zebra, 42Gears, Mimecast, Alan Boswell Insurance, and Watchguard—showcased their innovative solutions, offering attendees direct access to cutting-edge technologies and expert advice.

Jenny Melling, Sales and Marketing Manager at Smart Solutions, shared her enthusiasm for the event's success: "The third Cyber Networking Breakfast was a great success, offering a valuable platform for businesses to come together and address the growing challenges of cybersecurity. More importantly, it provided practical strategies to tackle these threats. One of my key goals this year was to boost confidence around cybersecurity among businesses in and around Peterborough, and I believe this event has made great strides toward achieving that."
