Peterborough Regional Pool opening date confirmed

Peterborough Regional Pool will open next week, it has been confirmed.

Vivacity has said that the Regional Pool and Leisure Centre, as well as Vivacity Premier Fitness in Hampton, will open again from Monday (August 17)

Jack Hunt, Bushfield, Hampton and Werrington leisure centres will open before the end of September, but the exact dates have not yet been confirmed.

A spokesman for Vivacity said: “We apologise you have had to wait for this update and thank all of our valued members for your patience and understanding during this time. We have written to all members via email regarding reopening.”

While there have been calls for the Lido to re-open for the summer, with former council leader John Peach offering £10,000 to get the popular attraction open, Vivacity said Peterborough Lido will not reopen for the 2020 summer season.
