The Pathway Programme allows apprentices to spend six months working within four departments, which could include customer services, risk, finance, marketing or HR.

Meanwhile, they will study for either an Insurance Practitioner or Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship, gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Emily White, an existing Pathway apprentice and a finalist in the 2019 Peterborough Apprenticeship Awards, said: “When I left school, I knew I wanted to go into business but I didn’t know which area I wanted to go into.

“This role gives me the chance to rotate across different areas before deciding where I want to focus my future career.”

Applicants for the Pathway Programme should have two A-Levels at grade C or above, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification. They should also have English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above, or equivalent.
