The store, located on the site of the old British Sugar offices off Oundle Road in Woodston, will open on Thursday, February 11. Works to demolish the old sugar offices and build the new shop have taken place over the past year, and the final touches are now being put in place. Speaking to The Peterborough Telegraph last year, a spokesman for Lidl said the new shop would create ‘around 30 full and part time positions for the local community.’
