Furniture maker’s jobs pledge as it moves into Yaxley
The newly founded Deene Ltd has bought two units in Heron Court at the Eagle Business Park, in Yaxley.
The company plans to employ and train ten people in design, manufacture and installation over the next two years.

Hide AdThe business, which specialises in the creation of practical and durable living room and bedroom furniture, says the quality of the workforce, area’s reputation for vocational higher education and the facilities were key factors in the decision to move to Yaxley.
The deal has been overseen by Peterborough commercial agents Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons).
Deene Ltd prides itself on the British quality of its products and also sells quality furniture from other UK suppliers.
The company had looked at a number of units in the area but chose Heron Court because of the quality and size of the newly built units.

Hide AdRichard Jones, of Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough, said: “Deene Ltd is the latest in the line of a number of local owner occupier companies who have been attracted to Eagle Business Park.
“The new-build units there offer a springboard from which ambitious companies can fulfil current and future property requirements in line with business growth.”
