The business, which specialises in the creation of practical and durable living room and bedroom furniture, says the quality of the workforce, area’s reputation for vocational higher education and the facilities were key factors in the decision to move to Yaxley.

The deal has been overseen by Peterborough commercial agents Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons).

Deene Ltd prides itself on the British quality of its products and also sells quality furniture from other UK suppliers.

The company had looked at a number of units in the area but chose Heron Court because of the quality and size of the newly built units.
