The retailer, which was based in Hampton and had a turnover of £10 million, closed in November last year with the loss of 100 jobs after trading for 27 years.

Now the two storey showroom, retail and trade counter space in Phorpres Close, Cygnet Park, has been brought to the market by commercial agents Savills, acting for a private landlord.

The premises total 14,367 sq ft with a yard of 6,098 sq ft and are available to let at a rent of £180,000 per year.

Edward Gee, Associate Director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, said: “Although currently operating as a retail showroom, the building is suitable for a range of uses, subject to planning.

“Situated in a prominent location in Hampton, the property benefits from a high volume of passing traffic generated by nearby occupiers including Mercedes and Dobbies Garden Centre.

“Due to its strong credentials we expect to receive a considerable number of inquiries.”
