As some supermarkets have struggled to keep up with demand, King Brothers Food Service has opened the doors of its well-stocked warehouse to the general public

Established in Orton Waterville in 1934, the family owned and run company has always provided employment for local people. Firmly established as part of the local community, the company takes its response to community matters very seriously.

Director Martin King said: “We’ve been moved by the personal stories and difficulties of those who have been coming in. There is enough food for everyone and we can get supplies. We won’t be

allowing stock-piling, but enough for a weekly shop. The next week, people can come back to us and shop again. We’ll be here.”

He added: “We are also here to supply catering quantities to establishments who have to feed others: nursing homes, sheltered housing, nurseries, and hospitals. We can deliver and we’re a

phone call away.”

Although customers can place an order and collect, King Brothers also deliver free to homes for a minimum order value of £60. For more information see Facebook: King Brothers Food Service or go to www.kingbros.co.uk
