The firm, which specialising in designing, converting and supplying vehicles for frontline emergency services and regulatory bodies, has acquired the freehold of 15 Royce Road plus two units, each of 1,950sq ft, at Heron Court, in Yaxley.

Blue Light Services says the new units will allow the company to expand and take on more staff.

Richard Jones, director of Barker Storey Matthews, which oversaw the deal, said: “As well as the advantageous transport position Peterborough occupies the country’s road network, industrial occupiers - such as those in the automotive sectors - reference the availability of a skilled and willing workforce from which to recruit as a reason to relocate to the area.”
