Entrepreneur Rory Crowley - the man behind the venture - is eager to get going after his original launch was put on hold by the coronavirus outbreak.

Rory said: “I want to create a fun atmosphere for all. We have the exciting ingredients of old and new, retro, vintage, antique and collectables - there’s something for everybody.”

Former electrician Rory added: “I have always had a keen interest in antiques and hidden treasures. Even as a child, I would think ‘if an object could talk, what would it tell us?’”

Rory - Finbarr is his middle name - picked a tough time to start a new business.

“It has been both exciting and daunting if I'm honest,” he said. “Trying to navigate through the barriers of Covid-19 has been challenging to say the least.

“My last two auctions have been live online only at Easylive auctions due to restrictions, so I have yet to experience first hand my auction house full of bidders.

“I personally sought out David Palmer. It took a bit of time, but I got there. David brings a sense of fun and humour to the bidding. It really will be a fun day.

“I want to give something back to Peterborough town as a community. Our local businesses need all the support we can get. We need to pull together as a local team and give our competitors a run for their money.

“I’ve established a live presence on my website and my Facebook page, and my long term goals are to launch a mobile app to make it easier for my customers, who may not always have the time to pop down.

“I want to create easy avenues for everyone and adapt to my customers’ needs and requirements whatever they may be so everyone can enjoy the experience and just have fun.”
