Taking place on Wednesday, 25th February at 2pm, guests will have a chance to discuss a range of subjects such as Outreach support: home visits, benefits support, emotional support etc – Equipment including tools and equipment to help people live more independently with sight loss - Available technology - Volunteer befriending service - Social activities including clubs, walks, outings etc - Fundraising and ways people can help.
General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “We’re really looking forward to having Hunts Blind come in for the session.
"This is so relevant not just for our residents but also their families and the wider community that may be living with some form of visual impairment without knowing the levels of support that is available for them.
"Here at Bayleaf Care Home we are always looking at new ways that we can provide support and advice about care to anyone who needs it. If anyone is unable to make it on the day but would like to pop in for a tour and a cup of tea, our doors are always open.”
