Workers outside Paston Ridings Primary School painted the word ‘clear’ misspelt on the road.

The warning should have read ‘keep clear’ but instead was left as ‘keep cllar.’

Road markings across the area have been repainted but passers-by noticed that a mistake had been made this morning (October 15).

This caused much discussion online, with one user commenting: “You would have thought at least one of them would have noticed. It makes it worse that it’s outside a school.”

The Peterborough Telegraph contacted Peterborough City Council for a response and a spokesperson said: “Thank you for letting us know about the road markings by Paston Ridings school.

“Our highways team has made our contractor aware and they are arranging for the road markings to be finished.”
