Derelict Peterborough pub sold for more than £400,000

The Cherry Tree Pub on Oundle Road, Woodston was a favourite of Peterborough United fans and residents, but closed in 2016, and is now derelict.
Today (Wednesday) Milton Estates confirmed the sale of the pub - although there are no details on what the future of the site is.

Hide AdA spokesman said: “Milton (Peterborough) Estates Company has announced today they have completed on the sale of the former Cherry Tree Inn public house and land to the rear.
“Following a tender process conducted by Barker Storey Matthews, there was a lot of interest in the site, with the sale price exceeding the initial guide price of £400,000.
“Milton is hopeful the sale will unlock a bright future for this current derelict plot.”
