Ladies’ Nights are one of the great success stories of the horse racing industry, helping to boost attendances for Britain’s second most popular spectator sport.
The traditional social evening out at the races in Cambridgeshire, sponsored by Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa, is on Tuesday 26th May at Huntingdon Racecourse and we have tickets to be won - it could be you and five friends.
It’s an occasion when thousands of ladies get out their finery and join their partners or friends for a night out, combining good company, great food and wine, and a little flutter on the horses.
Gentlemen dress up too!
Ladies’ Night is also the only chance to enjoy evening horse racing at Huntingdon Racecourse during the year.
Sian Williams, General Manager of Huntingdon Racecourse, said: “Ladies’ Night at Huntingdon Racecourse is a great tradition in Cambridgeshire when thousands of ladies take the chance to dress to impress. There are fantastic prizes to be won, including spa days, overnight stays at Whittlebury Hall Hotel and bespoke millinery.”
Before the big night out, ladies, gents and couples – over 18s only - are being invited to submit a ‘selfie’ and get the chance to win a pair of tickets and an automatic place in the ‘best dressed’ final.
Entrants should tweet a picture of themselves with their Ladies’ Night outfit to @Huntingdon_Race with the hash tag #HuntsLadiesNightSelfie.
One lady, gentleman or couple, chosen by the racecourse, will be automatically entered into the relevant category for the best dressed competition on the night.
