Windows of the former Masonic hall building have been knocked out to allow bifold doors to open out onto Lincoln Road.

No opening date has been announced but Creams- which launched in 2008 and has a 1950s retro Americana theme - will be in good company. Tamu opened its new lounge in Cowgate in March, Creations opened in Burghley Road in April and Kaspa’s is currently taking shape in a retail unit in Bridge Street,

All the Creams franchises have a black and purple colour scheme and distinctive lighting adding a trendy cutting edge to the design and feel. They each boast more than 30 different flavours of freshly made gelato, American-style waffles and crepes served in many sweet variations. That is complemented with Fair Trade coffees, sundaes, smoothies, juices and desserts.
