The Green Meadows Festival this weekend will be headlined on Saturday by 90s legends The Stereo MCs who had hits with songs like “Connected” and “Step it Up”.
The festival takes place from tomorrow until Sunday near Barnwell and features four music stages.
The bill also includes Mark Morriss, the former front man of chart topping band The Bluetones, and Glastonbury regulars such as Lisbee Stainton and Shanty.
The DJ line up covers house and nu-funk with DJs including Woosh from DiY, Pimpsol and Mooqee from Bombstrikes records and Father Funk from the Ghetto Funk record label. They will be playing in a 400 capacity inflatable igloo. There will also be a new stage called “The Siren’s Cave” where revellers will be able to dance to disco and northern soul.
