A Peterborough band who formed just a year after The Met Lounge opened back in 1999 finally maker their Met Lounge debut appearance this month – 15 years later!

Untamed are a Peterborough based classic rock band led by lead singer John Sampson and who will appeal to fans of bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica , Black Sabbath and AC/ DC.

The band used to play selected pubs in and around the city but now for the first time will be able to use the bigger stage at The Met to give their fans a show to remember.

The band will be playing a lot of their own original material in amongst selected covers in a special 90-minute-long set.

“Normally when we played the local pub circuit we would have to play more covers in our set to keep everybody happy,” said lead singer Jon Sampson.

“But for this show at The Met its our own headline show so we can showcase more of the tracks that people will have heard on our own CD releases.”

Support on the night comes from fellow Peterborough rock outfit Death Valley Piledriver.

Doors open at 8pm, entry is open to 14+ (u16’s to be accomp) and admission is £5 on the night. First band will be on stage at 8.30pm

All 18+ can stay free of charge for the club session afterwards.
