However, the 2016 event will take place at Thorpe Meadows in August, and at the Key Theatre in September.

There will be Storytellers, Sculptures, Music and lots of ‘Faerie and Beasty’ shenanigans including the Magic Dust Disco, Mini Beast Quests, Den Building, plus plenty of other interactive workshops to keep everyone entertained.

The Key Theatre weekend will take place on September 3 and September 4. The ‘Keyfeste’ will be a weekend celebration of artistic talent with music, dance, circus, puppets and storytelling, family oriented in the relaxing atmosphere of the Key Theatre and by the Riverside.

In previous years the Arts Festival band including The Futureheads have played sets, and spectacular parades and events have taken place in the city centre. The festival has also seen street performers fill the city with jaw-dropping stunts and incredible acts.
