There is a chance to see the Peterborough Male Voice Choir on Saturday (November 29) at Stamford Arts Centre.
In the last few years they have performed with the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band, the late Bernie Nolan, legendary soprano Lesley Garrett and folk hero Jon Boden of Bellowhead - among others - in venues from Truro Cathedral to the Sage, Gateshead, and all points between, regularly featuring on BBC local and national radio.
Highly regarded as one of the country’s foremost male voice choirs, Peterborough Male Voice Choir’s reputation is built on high quality live performances, recordings and broadcasts and a fresh and challenging approach to new music.
They are currently recording a CD of folk song settings for release in the New Year.
Hear them perform varied highlights from their repertoire, including choral favourites, ballads and songs from the shows, in their 16th annual concert at Stamford Arts Centre on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £12 (£10) from www.stamfordartscentre.com
