Peterborough Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) invite you to the John Clare Theatre, Central Library, Broadway, on Sunday at 2.30pm for a musical feast.
The cast are promising a journey through two World Wars, and the chance to enjoy some great songs from musicals and of course some songs old and new to get you in the mood for Christmas.
With something for all the family, and many chances to join in, as well as reminiscing over some well loved tunes, this promises to be a great way to escape the bustle of the High Street for a couple of hours.
Tickets are available from members, or on the door, and cost £5, which includes refreshments.
The festive show rounds off a successful 2014, which saw a highly acclaimed production of Witches of Eastwick: The Musical, in March, and the delightful Alan Bennett comedy play Habeas Corpus in September,
PODS’ next major production is a cracker – The Addams Family Musical.
This was a huge success on Broadway, and PODS are fortunate to have acquired the rights to perform this show in advance of its West End release.
The show is fabulous and director/choreographer Rob Bristow is putting the company through its paces, as is musical director Steve Hession.
This is an hilarious show, with everything you would expect from The Addams Family, with a great cast and super staging.
Addams Family is suitable for all the family and will be performed at the Key Theatre from March 24 to 28 next year. The box office is now open.
