Crowland Abbey is again turning the clock back to mediaeval times with its “St Nicholas Craft and Food Fair” on Saturday (December 6) from 10am to 3pm.
This year it is also hosting the Young Enterprise Trade Fair where pupils from local secondary schools will be gaining business experience by displaying and selling their own goods.
Organiser, Rosemary Briston, said: “Again it will be wonderful to see the Abbey used as a market place, as it once was.
“Stalls include locally produced meat, cakes, preserves and honey from within a few miles of the Abbey, Christmas decorations and wreaths, knitted baby and adult clothing, handmade cards, leather goods, jewellery, turned wood, painted furniture, scented candles and much more.”
There will also be live seasonal music and light refreshments including homemade soup and mulled wine with mince pies available.
