Two of the country’s top tribute bands play at Radius (above The Solstice) in Peterborough on Saturday as part of their UK tour.
Topping the bill is Robbie Williams Banned, featuring Matt Byrne as ‘Robbie’ and bringing a live show bursting with exuberance and energy that packs a real punch.
Having recently performed at the local Thorney Charity Music Festival to rapturous applause, the band are back in the city for the first time in over five years and are excited at the prospect of an up-close-and-personal gig at one of the city’s top entertainment hotspots.
“It’s been a full on year for us,” said Matt - a regular on the tribute circuit throughout the UK and across the world, including Ibiza, Germany and the Caribbean. “It’s great getting to do this for a living. I’ve been doing it for over a decade now and can honestly say I’m having a blast.”
Those that have seen Robbie Williams Banned will know that their gigs are always full of crazy antics and audience participation, performing hits such as Angels, Millennium, Let Me Entertain You, She’s The One, Feel and Rock DJ.
RWB are supported on the night by The Beautiful South and Housemartins top tribute act, Paul Heaton Fan Club. Playing sing-along ‘South’ classics such as Perfect 10, Rotterdam, A Little Time and Don’t Marry Her as well as The Housemartins’ Happy Hour, Build and Caravan Of Love, this looks to be a tribute night not to be missed!
Tickets are just £10 and available by credit/debit card from The Solstice, or by phone on 01733 560231.
